- Standing opposite to the side to be manipulated
Position of the patient:
- Prone lying position
- Sandbag/Pad placed under the anterior superior iliac spine on the side to be manipulated
Hand placement:
- Ipsilateral hand on sacrum above level S2
- Contralateral hand on top of the other hand
Direction of the manipulation:
- Ventrolateral
