Knee Flexion Angular Manipulation

Position of the therapist:

  • Standing at the long edge of the bench on the side to be treated

Position of the patient:

  • Supine lying position close to the edge of the bench
  • Hip flexed to 110°

Hand placement:

  • Contralateral hand placed on distal femur to control position of the leg
  • Ipsilateral hand placed on distal part of the tibia

Direction of the manipulation:

  • Thrust via the distal tibia at endrange flexion
