Position of the patient:
- Supine lying position
- Arm in abduction
- Elbow in 70° flexion
Hand placement:
- Ipsilateral hand fixates patient’s humerus on the bench
- Contralateral hand grabs onto distal radius

- Traction is applied along the long axis of the radius in distal direction
