Position of the therapist:
- Standing at the long edge of the bench on the side to be examined/treated
Position of the patient:
- Prone lying position
- Knee flexed to 90°
Hand placement:
- For Pronation:
- Ipsilateral hand on cuboid and cuneiform so that the thumb fixates the bones from plantar
- Other fingers placed dorsally on the foot
- Contralateral hand grabs metatarsals in the same fashion
- For Supination:
- Moving hand switched around
Direction:
- Pronation and/or supination
