- Standing or sitting medial to the foot to be examined/treated
Position of the patient:
- Supine lying position
- Foot placed over edge of the bench
Hand placement:
- Contralateral hand fixates the calcaneus against the bench from plantar
- Hypothenar of ipsilateral hand placed dorsally over cuboid
- Moving distally:
- Fixation of the cuboid bone
- Hypothenar of other hand over 4th and 5th metatarsal
Direction:
- Roll and glide into plantar and medial direction
