Execution:
- Patient is in upright sitting position
- The examiner stabilizes the patient’s shoulder girdle on the clavicle and scapula to prevent shoulder elevation
- The examiner passively moves the patient’s arm into end-range shoulder abduction
Positive Outcome: Passive glenohumeral abduction exceeds 105°, which is indicative of laxity of the inferior glenohumeral ligament
