Hornblower’s Sign | Infraspinatus and Teres Minor

Execution:

  1. The patient is in sitting position with the shoulder abducted to 90° in the scapular plane
  2. The patient flexes the elbow to 90° and is asked to move into external rotation against the resistance of the examiner

 

Positive Outcome: Inability of the patient to externally rotate against the resistance in this position
