Posterior Impingement Sign

Execution:

  1. The patient is in supine position
  2. The patient’s shoulder is brought into 90-110° of abduction, 10-15° of extension and maximal external rotation

 

Positive Outcome: Provocation of the patient’s familiar deep posterior shoulder pain
