Execution:
- Patient is in standing position
- The patient is asked to flex the elbows to 90°, to abduct the arms to 90° and to hold this position briefly
Positive Outcome: The patient has to elevate the whole scapula or shoulder girdle – which means they have to shrug the shoulders – to achieve the 90° of shoulder abduction
