Execution:
- The examiner creates indirect fibular stress by compressing the tibia and fibula with both hands approximately 10 cm above the fibular tip
- The examiner creates direct stress on the medial malleolous by pressing the thumb flat on the medial malleolus
- The examiner creates compression stress of the midfoot and hindfoot by fixating the calcaneus in neutral position with one-hand with the other hand applying a sagittal load on the forefoot
Positive Outcome: Tenderness reported at any of the 3 steps
