Execution:
- The patient is in standing position and the examiner palpates the patient’s posterior superior iliac spines (PSIS)
- Then, the patient is asked to bent forward towards the midline, while the examiner palpates the movement of the PSIS
Positive Outcome: The test is positive if one PSIS moves earlier (before 60° of forward flexion) and thus travels higher upward than the other due to hypomobility on that side
