Execution:
- Patient is in standing position and crosse the unaffected leg over the affected leg while keeping the foot of the affected limb flat on the floor
- The examiner gently steps on the affected foot in order to fixate it
- The patient is asked to rotate their torso as far as possible while contracting the quadriceps
Positive Outcome: This position should reproduce a lateral pivot-shift and symptoms of “the knee wanting to go out”
