Posterior Labral Tear Test | Posteroinferior Labral Tear / Iliopsoas Tendonitis

Execution:

  1. Patient is in supine position with a neutral spine
  2. The examiner brings the patient’s hip into maximal flexion, adduction and internal rotation
  3. Then, the patient’s hip is slowly moved into abduction, external rotation and extension

 

Positive Outcome: Reproduction of the patient’s familiar groin pain with or without a click
