Diagnostic criteria:
- Headache occurs on ≥15 days/month in a patient with pre-existing headache disorder
- Regular overuse for >3 months of ≥1 drugs that can be taken for acute and/or symptomatic treatment of headache
- paracetamol/NSAIDs on ≥15 days/month
- triptans and similar medication on ≥10 days/month
- Not better accounted for by another ICHD-3 diagnosis
