Execution:
- Patient is in prone lying position with his chest on the floor or treatment bench
- The patient’s shoulders are abducted with the elbows flexed to 90°
- The patient’s hands are placed over the lateral edge of the table so that both forearms are supinated and the elbows are pointing laterally
- The patient is then asked to press up
Positive Outcome: Patient has apprehension, reports a sense of instability or lateral elbow pain or actual dislocation of the radial head takes place
