Tilt Sign

Execution:

  1. Patient is standing or sitting with the elbow flexed to 90°
  2. The examiner pronates the patient’s forearm with one hand and palpates the radial tuberosity with the thumb of his other hand which lies 2,5cm/1 inch distally to the radial head

 

Positive Outcome: Tenderness upon palpation over the radial tuberosity where the distal biceps tendon inserts
