Execution:
- Patient is sitting on the treatment table with the examiner standing on the affected side
- The patient’s forearm is resting on his thighs with the elbow flexed to 60-80° to minimize tension in the brachialis to isolate the biceps to forearm supination
- The examiner slightly pronates the forearm to place tension on the biceps tendon
- The examiner grasps the patient’s biceps with both hands placed on the distal myotendinous junction and on the muscle belly and squeezes them firmly
Positive Outcome: Forearm supination upon squeezing the muscle belly and myotendinous junction of the biceps cannot be observed
