Execution:

  1. This test can only be performed if the patient is experiencing arm pain or paresthesia at rest
  2. Ask the patient to put the palmar side of the hand of the effected arm on top of their head

 

Positive Outcome: If the patient experiences a decrease in arm pain or paresthesia
