Lunotriquetral Ballottement / Shuck Test | Lunotriquetral Ligament

Execution:

  1. The patient is sitting position
  2. The patient’s forearm and hand are placed on the examination table
  3. The examiner fixates the lunate with a pinchgrip with one hand
  4. The examiner grabs the triquetrum with the other hand and translates it in dorso-palmar direction

Positive Outcome: Noticeable laxity compared to the unaffected hand as well as the reproduction of the patients painful symptoms
