Bent Knee Stretch Test | Hamstring Tendinopathy

Execution:

  1. Patient is in supine lying position
  2. The examiner moves the patient’s hip and knee on the side to be tested into maximal flexion
  3. The examiner then extends the patient’s knee on the side to be tested as far as possible

 

Positive Outcome: The patient complains about pain in the proximal part of the hamstrings at the ischial tuberosity
