Knee Flexion Roll Glide Manipulation

Position of the therapist:

  • Standing at the long edge of the bench on the side to be treated

Position of the patient:

  • Supine lying position close to the edge of the bench
  • Hip flexed to 110°

Hand placement:

  • Fingers of both hands intertwined and cup the patient’s knee so that one hand fixates the position of the femur
  • The other hand’s palm placed on the proximal tibia
  • The forearm controls the roll into flexion

Direction of the manipulation:

  • Thrust via the forearm and hand on the tibia at endrange flexion
