Position of the therapist:
- Standing at the long edge of the bench on the side to be treated
Position of the patient:
- Supine lying position close to the edge of the bench
- Hip flexed to 110°
Hand placement:
- Fingers of both hands intertwined and cup the patient’s knee so that one hand fixates the position of the femur
- The other hand’s palm placed on the proximal tibia
- The forearm controls the roll into flexion
Direction of the manipulation:
- Thrust via the forearm and hand on the tibia at endrange flexion
