Execution:
- Patient is in supine lying position
- The examiner performs a passive Straight Leg Raise test until symptoms occur
- The examiner then flexes the knee to approximately 20°, which should reduce symptoms
- At last the examiner applies pressure to the tibial nerve in the popliteal fossa
Positive Outcome: Symptoms like shooting pain down the leg are reproduced upon pressure on the tibial nerve
