Execution:
- Have the patient in supine position
- The examiner flexes the patient’s hip to 90°, adducts the hip and adds external rotation of the hip to end-range
- The examiner asks the patient to perform internal rotation of the hip against the examiner’s resistance
Positive Outcome: Reproduction of the patient’s lateral hip pain in the region of the greater trochanter of at least 2/10 on the NPRS
