Execution:
- The patient is in sitting position and the patient’s position is stabilized by the examiner with one hand on the patient’s shoulder
- The examiner is standing behind the patient and applies light pressure to the patient’s vertex
- With constant pressure the examiner rotates the patient’s head 180° towards the patient’s affected side from maximal neck flexion, followed by lateral flexion to maximal extension
Positive Outcome: The patient’s radicular pain or tingling is reproduced or aggravated in the ipsilateral shoulder or upper extremity
