Execution:
- The patient is in sitting position with the wrist and the ulnar aspect of the forearm on the treatment table
- The examiner applies an adduction force to the patient’s thumb and the patient is asked to resist the movement
Positive Outcome: Decreased strength rated with the MRC scale compared to the other side
