TFCC Compression Test

Execution:

  1. The patient is in sitting position with his elbow resting on the treatment table
  2. The examiner then fixates the patient’s radius and ulna with one hand close to the joint line
  3. The examiner then grabs the patient’s wrist from radial at the height of the patient’s metacarpals and brings his patient’s wrist into maximal ulnar deviation under axial compression

Positive Outcome: The patient’s pain on the ulnar side is reproduced with a click or crepitations
