Execution:
- The examiner first palpates the anterior inferior tibiofibular ligament and then moves more proximal to palpate the interosseus ligament/membrane
- Then the examiner palpates the transverse ligament posteriorly between the tibia and the fibula and moves a little more proximal to palpate the posterior tibiofibular ligament
Positive Outcome: Tenderness or pain upon palpation
