Execution:
- Patient is in supine lying position with the legs extended and the examiner standing or sitting medially to the tested knee
- The examiner grabs onto the distal tibia from the outside, while the other hand fixates the femur medially. The tibia is in slight lateral rotation
- The examiner then performs passive adduction with a fully extended knee, followed by passive adduction of the knee in 20° of flexion.
Positive Outcome: The test is positive in case of increased ROM or change of end-feel compared with the uninjured side, as well as pain reproduction
